- Full-Time, Days, 5x8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasounds for level 1 OB scans and GYN scans, including fetal anatomical surveys and gender determination
- Conduct high-risk OB, abdominal, and pediatric ultrasound procedures utilizing GE equipment
- Accurately operate diagnostic imaging equipment and document findings in the EPIC system
- Adhere to regulatory standards, including ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications, with preferred certification in NT and Nuchal Translucency screening
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive imaging services for patients
- Follow safety protocols and maintain proper infection control procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical setting
- Certified as a diagnostic medical sonographer with ARDMS or equivalent credentials
- Valid NC or Compact State license at the time of start
- Proven experience with high-risk OB and GYN ultrasounds, including specialized procedures like amniotic fluid index and fetal anatomical surveys
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in NT and Nuchal Translucency screening
- Experience with GE ultrasound systems and EPIC scheduling
- Familiarity with outpatient ultrasound procedures and certifications in Breast Cyst Aspiration, Thyroid, and Testicle/Scrotum scans
