Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, days shift, 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized telemetry nursing care in a 24-bed acute care unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient needs accordingly
- Assist with wound care and other procedures as needed
- Maintain documentation using Cerner system
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care in an affluent community setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license issued in the state of North Carolina
- BLS certification
- Experience caring for geriatric or inpatient rehab (swing bed patients)
- Ability to perform wound care procedures
- Comfort working in a unit with high standards for concierge patient service
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- CPI certification
- Prior telemetry or PCU experience in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of standard medical/surgical equipment
