Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy and GI procedures in a hospital setting.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Administer moderate sedation, monitor patient vitals, and assess patient status throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois registered nurse license.
• CPR and ACLS certification.
• Epic electronic medical record systems experience.
• Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in GI Lab, Endoscopy, or PACU Pre/Post Op.
• Experience with moderate sedation administration.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing 30-60 cases per day.
• Strong clinical skills in GI procedures and patient care.
• Ability to work efficiently within a high-volume environment.
