Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Monitor and assess patient vitals and responses throughout procedures
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in compliance with hospital protocols
• Attend on-call duties as scheduled, including potential holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a Compact State
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience with travel, or 3 years without travel
• Valid TN or compact nursing license at time of submission
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during assigned shifts
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Cerner experience is preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS (if expiring during assignment, renewal must be planned)
• Experience working with pediatric or specialized surgical units is a plus
