Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, Day shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit at a leading hospital.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and recognize ECG rhythms to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and assessments.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements during care delivery.
• Work at least every other holiday as part of the shift rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing in a perm setting.
• Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores on both.
• Experience in recognizing ECG rhythms and medication safety protocols.
• Ability to work rotating day/nights shifts, as needed by operational requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting within the Cleveland Clinic system or similar large hospital.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
