Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the GI Lab focusing on endoscopy procedures, including pre-op and post-op care
• Assist with approximately 30-60 cases per day in a high-volume GI environment
• Administer moderate sedation, requiring EKG passing and ACLS certification
• Support patients through prep and recovery processes, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system to document care and procedures
• Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• Epic experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in GI Lab/Endoscopy/Pacu Pre-op/Post-op
• Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with moderate sedation administration in endoscopy settings
• Knowledge of GI Lab workflows and procedures
• Ability to float between multiple locations, including Evanston, Highland Park, Skokie, and Glenbrook
