Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Weston, WI

Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts; 12-hour shifts; part of a 3-shift per week schedule; includes every other weekend and holiday; requires standby and call-in responsibilities; floating to overflow units in MS or ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide RN-level care to adult patients with cardiac, post-catheterization, and other medical diagnoses in a PCU/IMC/Stepdown setting.
• Manage titration and administration of IV drips, including nitro, heparin, diltiazem, insulin, and amiodarone.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, collaborating with tele techs as needed.
• Support patient stabilization and recovery following cardiac procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and ancillary staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Note: Up to 3 days of department-specific orientation provided.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• ACLS, BLS, and EKG certification.
• Experience managing cardiac patients, including IV medication titration.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; familiarity with GE monitors.
• Must have management experience with IV medications such as nitro, heparin, diltiazem, and amio.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Note: Candidates must have worked for Marshfield within the last 6 months to be considered.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Post-cath lab experience.
• Experienced with arterial line management.
• Prior exposure to ventilator management (CPAP, BiPAP, Optiflow).
