Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with diagnostic and interventional radiology, cardiology, and electrophysiology procedures in a versatile lab environment.
• Scrub, circulate, and support staff during IR and cath lab procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
• Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot specialized imaging and procedural equipment, including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and other advanced diagnostic tools.
• Administer medications as directed by clinical staff, supporting patient care during procedures.
• Participate in a dynamic team performing urgent/emergent interventional procedures, adhering to strict response times and safety standards.
• Complete unit orientation and ongoing training to meet departmental needs and maintain certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab/EP Technologist or similar role.
• Valid and current NC or Compact licensure.
• Must have at least 90% IR experience, including scrub and circulate skills.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS.
• Must have experience with ECG lead placement and performing EKGs.
• Must possess IR-related certifications such as ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with Med Experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Additional certifications such as RCES or advanced ARRT certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with specialty equipment like Impella, IABP, or Ultrasound units.
• Ability to perform diagnostic procedures and assist with complex interventional radiology or cardiology interventions.
