• Registered Nurse - PreOp
Location
• Canton, GA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour shifts, days, contract (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide preoperative nursing care to patients, assessing their condition and preparing them for surgery
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs as per protocol
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Educate patients and families regarding preoperative procedures and post-op care
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PreOp or perioperative setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a hospital perioperative department or ambulatory surgery center
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills
