Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care for ICU patients, including those with neuro, cardiovascular, or post-surgical needs
• Manage high-acuity cases such as stroke patients, cardiac support devices, and neuro recovery
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• At least 3 years of critical care experience, specifically in neuro or cardiovascular ICU settings
• Experience with high acuity procedures including EVDSs, NI patients, CRRT, balloon pumps, swans, and surgical recovery
• Current certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Knowledge of stroke care and high-acuity patient management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification from a stroke-certified program preferred
• Experience with advanced heart failure management
• Ability to float first to ICU as needed

Additional Information
