Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and babies during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Assist physicians and midwives during examinations and procedures.
• Support families with patient-specific care, adhering to physicians’ orders, standards of care, and hospital policies.
• Work independently to complete assignments and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain and perform required certifications and training within specified timeframes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, current, unrestricted Professional Nursing License in the United States or U.S. territories.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must obtain AWHONN Intermediate EFM Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Must obtain AWHONN Advanced EFM Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire.
• STABLE Certification within 1 year of hire.
• ALS in Obstetrics (ALSO) Certification within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of OB nursing experience in antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, and related areas.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures and family-centered care.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting and handle diverse patient needs.
