Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday, no weekends, no on-call requirement, no travel restrictions within the specified policy.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within the appropriate charting system.
• Comply with all departmental and hospital safety policies, including radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential.
• Valid State license to practice nuclear medicine in Illinois.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in nuclear medicine.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as EPIC.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with multiple imaging modalities and advanced nuclear medicine procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
