• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex patient conditions.
• Interpret cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies according to protocols.
• Manage specialized patient needs such as IV therapies, wound care, and respiratory management including chest tubes and tracheostomy care.
• Float between departments and units as needed within scope of practice.
• Follow all infection control and isolation procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital standards.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri or applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, blood product administration, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience managing cardiac monitors, respiratory equipment, and wound care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac telemetry, ER holding, or ICU settings.
• Working knowledge of rapid response teams and management of complex neurological or renal conditions.
• Ability to handle multiple patient diagnoses including pulmonary, neuro, renal, and urologic cases.
• Comfort with floating between departments and facilities as needed.
