• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to acute care patients in IMC/Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown unit.
• Float within the scope of practice across various departments and units as needed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform wound care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with complex bariatric, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, trauma, and wound care patients, including those with surgical and postoperative needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown within the past 12 months.
• BLS certification; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations, including 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
• Must have at least 75 miles from the facility for consideration as a non-local candidate.
• Proof of updated immunizations and compliance modules prior to start.
• Valid SSN, recent references (supervisor or charge nurse), and background check clearance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with bariatric, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, trauma, or complex wound care patients.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Ability to adapt to floating across multiple departments/facilities.
