Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient emergency care to a diverse patient population
• Triage and assess incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer treatments such as IV starts, procedural and conscious sedation
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, providing appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including physicians, techs, and paramedics
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• 2-3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and MOAB certifications (MOAB training provided)
• Skills in IV starts, triage, telemetry, sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for critical care and trauma patients
• Knowledge of stroke and chest pain protocols, including administering t-PA and TNK
• Certifications such as ENPC and TNCC are highly preferred
