Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform required procedures with precision
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress and updates accurately in electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and clinical standards
Required Qualifications
- Active NC or Compact Nursing License in hand at start
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience, preferably with neurology postoperative care
- Certification: BCLS and PALS required
- Experience managing neurology post-op and administering chemo, IV placement, and lab draws (preferred)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neurology experience and critical care procedures
- Experience with administering chemotherapy and performing IV placements
- Proficiency in charting via Epic or similar EHR systems
