• Full-time, night shifts (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to pulmonary, general medical, and long-stay patients, including trach, COPD, and asthma patients.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage cardiac rhythms, and perform related patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, including chest tubes, trach care, and respiratory support (BIPAP/CPAP).
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records using EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR communication tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding RTO, holiday work, and floating requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current RN experience in a hospital or medical surgical/telemetry setting.
• Valid NC or Compact nursing license, in-hand at start.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and NIHP.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management skills.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health records systems (EPIC, PYXIS).
• Ability to float within service lines and across hospital units.
