Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care within a medical-surgical unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records.
• Follow infection control procedures, including specialized isolation protocols for COVID-19, Monkey Pox, and other infectious diseases.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Nursys license verification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical-surgical specialty.
• Current certification in healthcare provider BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Skills checklist and references available upon request.
• Clear work history with no gaps longer than 60 days.
• Ability to load all demographic information, including badge-appropriate picture, into profile.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience.
• Prior experience working with infectious disease protocols.
