Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures including interventional radiology on ambulatory and hospital patients.
• Assist radiologists in advanced imaging and specialized procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging and IR procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Cross-train or expand skills into interventional radiology field, if desired.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification as ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Less than 1 year of professional experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior exposure to or experience in interventional radiology preferred.
• Strong desire to expand into IR or cross-train in specialized procedures.
• Candidate with at least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience is ideal.
