Key Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures within a level-one trauma center, including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics cases.
• Prepare operating rooms, ensure sterile techniques, and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient surgeries.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
• Support coverage for rotating weekends and participate in on-call shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR tech experience.
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency.
• Experience with neuro, ENT, and robotics cases highly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma, transplant, or other high-acuity surgical environments.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Previous work in a teaching or Magnet-designated hospital.
