Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Sunday, with 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting within an acute care environment
• Float between different units as needed, without call requirements
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Assist with patient assessments and record keeping using Sigmacare and Epic systems
• Support patient care activities to meet the needs of the unit and patient safety standards
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to dress code policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid NY LVN / LPN license or proof of application
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a similar setting
• Ability to commit to 8-hour shifts with every other weekend work
• Reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible in the area
• Experience with LTC/SNF patient care and documentation systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Sigmacare and Epic electronic health records systems
• Ability to manage patient care for a diverse adult population, ages 45 and above
