• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery.
• Operate high-flow devices, ventilators, nebulizers, nitric oxide, heliox, and other respiratory equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Cover the Respiratory NICU and PICU units, with potential coverage for adult floors as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Previous experience working in NICU or PICU settings.
• Ability to work nights and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Prior experience with high acuity neonatal intensive care units.
• Strong team player with critical thinking and patient care focus.
• Adaptability to changing priorities within a multidisciplinary team.
