Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in IMC, PCU, stepdown units, including patient monitoring and interventions.
• Manage post-cardiac, post-MI, and pre/post cardiac catheterization patients with advanced cardiac monitoring.
• Administer IV therapies, including insulin protocols, blood products, and medication management.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies using rapid response teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Float between departments as needed, adhering to scope and facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri or with compact licensing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an ICU, PCU, or stepdown setting within the past 12 months.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Strong skills in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response.
• Ability to work night shift, including weekends and holiday rotations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with neuro stepdown, hemodialysis, and ventilator management.
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical records and infusion pump training helpful.
