- LVN / LPN - Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Location
- Baltimore, MD
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to LTAC residents across multiple units, including subacute rehab, long-term care, and specialty units
- Float within hospital units as needed, delivering consistent and compassionate nursing care
- Follow facility protocols for infection control, safety, and documentation
- Recognize and respond to patient needs, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as ordered
- Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Adhere to strict attendance and punctuality policies, including working every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maryland or Compact LVN/LPN license at the time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or long-term care setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts and accommodate floating responsibilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for ventilator patients and with trach care
- Familiarity with subacute rehab, memory care, or pulmonary units
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
