Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, permanent, rotating shifts (day and night, 3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies and manage vital signs, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Recent experience (at least 18 months) in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry, travel experience acceptable.
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with rotating day and night shifts.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
