Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Assist surgical teams during various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical equipment
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience in a large Level 1 trauma hospital, specifically in operating room settings
- Strong vascular/endovascular experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including call, holidays, and weekends
- High performance ratings on skills assessments and checklists
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in busy trauma centers
- Demonstrated expertise in vascular and endovascular procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
