Registered Nurse - Oncology

Location: Kansas City, MO

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized oncology patient care adhering to established clinical standards.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and facility policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience within the past 12 months.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with flexibility to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
• Must have a compact license or be willing to obtain Missouri and Kansas licensure.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a fast-paced oncology environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically EPIC.
• Completion of infusion pump and glucometer training prior to start date.
