• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult acute inpatient units, including the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Stepdown
• Float to various units as needed, supporting optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, including insulin and cardiac drips, and start IVs
• Monitor and respond to patient changes using telemetry and other monitoring systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Document patient progress accurately using EPIC and other electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Valid NY State RN license or proof of application with applied date
• BLS, ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum of 1-year telemetry experience
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, post-cardiac cath procedures
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or float experience
• Strong understanding of acute cardiac patient management and complex care protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
