Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology diagnoses in a stepdown/ICU setting.
• Monitor patients using telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage IV therapy, blood products, and central lines.
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols and falls prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Complete computerized charting using EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS Chemotherapy Certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Experience with rapid response teams and feeding tube management.
