Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a busy emergency department setting
• Proficiently perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Ensure patient safety and effective care under physician protocols
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to prioritize and deliver timely patient interventions
• Adhere to hospital and regulatory standards, including safety and confidentiality protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department (ED) experience
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience required
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oncology patients is a plus but not required
• Strong telemetry monitoring and IV skills
• Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4 efficiently
