Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a busy Emergency Department, supporting approximately 33,000 patient visits annually.
• Cover 12-hour night shifts with rotating start times between 9 AM and 3 PM, as needed.
• Manage a diverse caseload including trauma, critical care, triage, and minor emergency care.
• Collaborate with ER staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in compliance with departmental standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or a compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Successful completion of at least one travel assignment in a similar setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and rotate as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department.
• Previous experience working with trauma and critical care patients.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

• Contract hours are guaranteed; on-call time does not count toward guaranteed hours.
