Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, full-time, inpatient respiratory therapy care with potential to work in multiple units and locations within Fargo

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders to support optimal health outcomes
• Perform therapeutic interventions, including blood gas analysis, lung capacity measurement, and equipment management
• Provide patient education on respiratory health, preventative care, and self-management strategies
• Document patient assessments and procedures accurately using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float between units and locations as needed, including NICU, Peds ICU, adult ICU, and ER

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting
• Valid ND state license or willingness to apply within 72 hours of acceptance
• NBRC RRT certification
• BLS certification from AHA
• Experience working in facilities with 300+ beds, including ICU and emergency rooms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in NICU, PICU, or adult ICU settings
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS (AHA)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to patient condition changes
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
