Job Title

• Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, day shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for adult patients with complex medical needs.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, perform neuro and spinal checks, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusions, chest tubes, PCA pumps, and other specialized procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies and maintain patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a stepdown, IMC, or ICU setting.
• Ability to perform neuro and trauma care procedures.
• Must be a team player with a patient-focused approach.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro and trauma care experience.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and specific nursing equipment (IV pumps, Skylift, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts).
