Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in the operating room, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Delegate and coordinate tasks with other care providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license valid in Texas or a multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an operating room or surgical setting.
