• Registered Nurse - Oncology (Night Shift)

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week), Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a mixed acuity Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant unit, including both hematology and oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias, respond to rapid response calls as needed.
• Care for patients undergoing autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic stem cell transplants, including CAR-T therapy.
• Follow strict infection control and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records, specifically EPIC.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or Compact State Registered Nurse license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical/telemetry and oncology experience documented in checklist.
• At least basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Capable of blood product administration, line management, and feeding tube care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Hematology/Oncology certification preferred; Chemo certification not required but beneficial.
• Experience with stem cell transplant procedures, including autologous, allogeneic, and CAR-T therapy.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Knowledge of advanced oncology treatments and therapies.

Additional Notes
Candidates must complete all credentialing requirements promptly, including Ohio fingerprinting by Tuesday prior to the assignment start date. Candidates outside Ohio must be prepared to drive to fingerprinting locations or complete mailed fingerprinting processes quickly. RTO must be communicated upfront and included in the contract. References from leadership roles are required, and current employees are not eligible for travel assignments at Ohio State University hospital locations.
