Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-week contract, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac and neuro critical care to patients in the CVICU setting
• Adhere to patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies promptly
• Float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed, maintaining high standards of care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient treatment and safety
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including on-call responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVICU experience (preferably 2 years)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Ability to work night shifts and adhere to holiday and weekend rotation schedules

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac and neuro ICU experience
• Experience with Epic charting system or similar electronic medical records
• Ability to float within scope across units or facilities confidently
