- Herrin, IL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in the medical/surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and update care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and comprehensively.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly within scope of practice.
- Support floating to other units as needed within clinical competency.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in medical/surgical units.
- Ability to float across units with demonstrated competency.
