Travel RN – Cardiac Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Medical/Surgical unit during overnight shifts

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols

• Monitor cardiac patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record

• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Tennessee license or compact eligibility required)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

• Prior experience in a cardiac or cardiac med/surg setting

• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in a comparable setting

• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation

• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments
