Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
