Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | On-call requirements apply; rotating weekends possible
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a CVOR setting with a 1:1 patient ratio, performing observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
- Scrub and circulate across all surgical service lines including vascular, thoracic, ortho, spine, robotics, GYN, podiatry, ENT, urology, and plastic surgery
- Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser (lead extraction), EVH, and rapid transfuser
- Perform accurate and proficient documentation using the Meditech electronic health record system
- Participate in on-call rotation as determined by unit staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute operating room setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to scrub and demonstrate proficiency across all surgical service lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency in robotics, orthopedic, spine, and GYN surgical specialties in addition to CVOR
- Strong critical thinking, multi-tasking, and charting skills with excellent bedside manner
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
