Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating Weekends | No Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and assist with internal monitor placement
- Assist with and circulate for C-sections, SVDs, cerclages, and TOLAC procedures
- Operate unit-specific equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members to maintain safe, effective patient care on a 32-bed unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Demonstrated competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and sterile vaginal exam (SVE)
- C-section circulation experience
- Intermediate fetal monitoring proficiency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a Level IV or high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
- Previous travel nursing experience within a comparable health system
