Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Day Shift

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic floor therapies including nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy (CPT), nocturnal pulse oximetry, and arterial blood gas (ABG) collection
• Manage BiPAP and ventilator settings and make adjustments as clinically indicated
• Perform and assist with procedures including HHN, CPT, BiPAP and vent management, and extubation
• Utilize respiratory equipment including EPOC Blood Gas analyzers, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, and V60 ventilators
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to critical care and step-down units including CICU, SICU, MICU, and step-down areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency in basic floor therapies: nebulizer treatments, CPT, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and ABG collection
• Demonstrated competency in BiPAP management
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator and BiPAP management in an acute care setting
• Prior ICU experience strongly preferred
