Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one on-call day per week, one late shift per week, and one weekend every 5–6 weeks
• Float between like units or campuses as needed to meet census and staffing demands
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
