Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00) | Variable start times: 7:00 or 9:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an acute care hospital Operating Room setting
• Support trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include up to 6–8 on-call shifts per 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends)
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Comply with weekend scheduling requirements and be available to cover occasional night shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care Operating Room environment
• Familiarity with floating to sister or affiliate facilities
• Ability to adapt to variable start times and on-call scheduling requirements
