Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | Option for 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Initiate and manage IV access for assigned patients
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and communicate using SBAR methodology
- Administer and reconcile medications using Omnicell systems
- Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, including a minimum of two weekend shifts
- Complete unit orientation, including one day of on-site training with an educator
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work night shifts in an onsite hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records and Omnicell medication management systems
