Echo/Ultrasound Sonographer – Radiology / Cardiology (Maternal Fetal Medicine)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8-Hour Days, 08:00–16:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk OB and Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound examinations averaging 5–8 scans per day in a clinic setting
• Conduct fetal anatomical surveys including assessment of abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, diaphragm, fingers/toes, gender, head, and heart
• Perform OB/GYN imaging across all trimesters including amniotic fluid index, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, placenta previa, umbilical cord Doppler, and multiple pregnancy studies
• Obtain inter/intra-orbital measurements and assist with special procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
• Document and chart patient studies accurately using Epic and Viewpoint systems
• Operate GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment in accordance with clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in OB with Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in High-Risk OB, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Obstetrics imaging
• Hands-on experience with GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment
• Proficiency in required fetal and OB/GYN skill sets including nuchal translucency, fetal echo, and umbilical cord Doppler
• Active NC license or compact nursing/sonography license (pending acceptable at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing amniocentesis procedures
• Familiarity with PACS imaging systems
• Prior experience working in a clinic or outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine setting
