Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) | At least one weekend per month required | Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services in a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Assist in the delivery of patient rehabilitation and therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and treatment notes using Cerner electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as required
• Maintain compliance with facility dress code standards (royal blue scrubs, black shoes)

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana Physical Therapy Assistant license — must be in hand prior to start date; pending licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner charting system
• Must be available to work at least one weekend per month and 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Willingness and ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Travel therapy assignment experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
