Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (PRN Low Census)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6, with potential flex to 1:7 during unplanned staffing absences
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response intervention
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed during low census periods
• Float within scope to other like units or sister facilities as required to meet staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
• Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Insulin management, and Rapid Response
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• ACLS and/or NIHSS certification preferred
