Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic examinations including transthoracic and other standard echo studies
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and echo imaging equipment to ensure quality diagnostic results
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort
• Acquire and document high-quality cardiac images for physician interpretation
• Collaborate with clinical staff and cardiology team to support patient care within a critical access hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification through a recognized credentialing body
• Demonstrated experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echo imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently in a day shift, Monday through Friday schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a critical access or rural hospital environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of echo modalities and imaging technologies
