Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Weekends Only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday) | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with potential float coverage to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Work at least every other holiday as required by facility scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted for this requirement)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
• Familiarity with medication administration competency assessments
